Ok, to sum up: There are 4 kind of tiles used in nowadays tileservers: 1) 256 @ standard resolution (= 256x256 Pixel tiles) 2) 256 @ HiDPI resolution (= 512x512 Pixel tiles) 3) 512 @ standard resolution (= 512x512 Pixel tiles) 4) 512 @ HiDPI resolution (1024x1024 Pixel tiles) So I created 4 different .bsh-files , each for one of the different tile types (download them within from attachment). And checked if they are displayed correctly within MOBAC's grid, as well if they create correct Atlases (format:...

Yes I'm talking about TMS-server tiles. More and more servers today are providing their tiles either by default or even exclusive as 512x512 tiles. 256x256 ist still mostly used, but with the intention to don't brake legacy apps (yet): https://docs.maptiler.com/guides/maps-apis/maps-platform/difference-between-256x256-512x512-and-hidpiretina-rasterized-tiles/ Good support of 512px-server tiles within .BSH as well as within .XML custom map definitionfiles is important. "tileSize = 512" is essential...

Well, the creator of this topic didn't write anything ;-) But I want to use it for a question regarding mapsources consisting of 512x512 px tiles: Is there a tag for custom map's XML-files to define that map files are 512x512 Pixel instead of 256x256 ? Like the parameter "tileSize = 512" for .BSH-files

I also got this error, which resulted in aborting Atlas-creation (Atlas format is "PNG+Worldfile"). The reason is one broken source file (it got downloded from the server, but the file is broken). Perhaps the same bug is mentioned in https://sourceforge.net/p/mobac/bugs/247/ Please add an option that Atlas-creation continues and setting the area of the broken tile to background-color.

I can confirm the bug, still active in Windows 11. Any new ideas? Maybe trying some other letter-keys instread (like E-S-D-X) if they would work? (not Y or Z because they are differnt possitioned on English an German keyboard layouts, which could cause additional troubles)

Is there already any solution or at least an idea which Atlas-format to use if we want to create full transparent Atlas-parts where the tiles-provider delivered transparent tiles too, or where the provider delivered no tiles at all? Something based on PNG format would be ideal. Right now these areas are colored with MOBAC's non-transparent background-color. But this is not ideal if we want to edit the atlas with other sofware and overlay it to other maps.

May I ask for another ones: "JPEG - quality 40" + "JPEG - quality 30" e.g. ideal for large maps if Webspace is running short
