Hi Frank, now i understand your problem. you are not using these file for the altitude correction. (i use them only for this) You want dispaly strm maps like this: https://mytourbook.sourceforge.io/mytourbook/index.php/screenshots/srtm-gallery therefor you need srtm3 files, srtm1 is not supported for that. my srtm3 folder contains 100th of files with this naming style: N35E012.hgt size is always 2818KB you can keep the srtm1 files for altitude correction, but for the maps you must download the 3asec...
