You are not the only person using this application. Actually I had the same problem as you after a clean install. For some strange reason, it did not update. It said it cannot download IMDB.jar . Unlike you, even after several attempts it did not work. But if you do a google search of the IMDB.jar you will be able to find the file and dowload it on its own. After the download you need to replace it with the existing IMDB.jar file which can be found under the folder lib in your Med's movie manager...
