Pros: The products have a lot of promise. Much better if backed up by employees and management that provided customer service excellence in delivering such a product.
Cons: -Lack of follow up or major lags
- A lot of empty promises
- Lack of Professionalism
- Been waiting on payment for 4-5 months
- Everyone points the finger at someone else
If there are investors, they should really look into the customer experience. I predict this company will be changing their name soon to avoid new customers from seeing their bad reviews.Overall: It really takes a lot for us to take the time to sit and write bad reviews for companies that we truly want to see succeed, but Katalyst leaves us no option after trying to get payment for over a month.

We really thought that Katalyst was the solution we needed to have a catering website and to manage our catering orders in one place. There definitely was a rush to get this account going and for us to sign up the account, but then after, the lack of attention to detail and lack of customer support was evident. We were assigned a customer support rep to handle everything we need and to support us throughout this process.
To say the least, many emails were unanswered for weeks, then when we would get responses, not all issues were addressed and we would have to continue to email. We even got to the point of offering suggestions on how she should be more effIcient when responding to emails.
And to top it off, we had our first order go through without any notification to us that there was an order placed. It just happened to be that the customer came in and told us that she had placed the catering order online. The response I get from our "rep" was that it is in the works to notify us of the order. WTH?!? Advised us to just stay signed on and to check daily. Really? But that isn't even the bigger problem. It has not been over 30 days since the order was placed and we still have not received payment. I asked for a direct check as we switched accounts and no response to those emails.
What is going on at Katalyst? Do investors know what is going on? This company has the potential to be great, but there is a lack of commitment. I had not researched reviews prior to signing on with them because I genuinely liked and believed their sales team and onboarding team. But from the looks of it, these issues are very similar to what others have experienced in the last year.
I would strongly recommend to do your research and don't fall for the empty promises. I have put a lot of time into this project and now I am left with looking for other solutions. -

Setup was straightforward, and their support team was incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend Katalyst POS to any business looking to enhance their customer experience and boost profits!
