Thought I'd test out this new super dense digital strip lighting so I made a matrix with them and used an ATmega32u4 to process the serial output to each LED.
The code is based on the Arduino bootloader and has only been tested on Freetronics' LeoStick.
The entire matrix runs from one serial output from the ATmega so it's speed and efficiency isn't the best.
Thinking of using FFT to make this a Spectrum Analyzer in the future for the audible range of frequencies. If you've got any other better idea's as to what to make of this, feel free to contact me.
The code is very poorly written because this was just a quick proof of concept.
