Huit is a configurable, modular emulator designed to run in the Linux environment. The concept is that of a configurable framework which includes a module loader and the main loop. All other functionality is provided by a configurable set of modules which fall into these categories:
memory (both RAM and ROM)
MPU emulator(6303 and 6809)
terminal
printer
additional peripheral chips(6840, 6821)
monitor emulation. e.g. Flexbug
operating system emulation (Flex 2 and Flex09)

All modules are written in ANSI C.
The initial version will support Hitachi 6303 emulation with a Flex 2 emulation providing access to both the native Linux filing system and Flex-compatible floppy disk image files.
