A generator app for generating random mazes, that are then compiled into Doom 2 compatible PWAD's (Patch WAD files). You can create single levels, or whole campaigns (32 levels). This is for use in either the proprietary software, or many of the open source ports available.
With a combination of this and at least two other software packages (a free Doom 2 source port, and a free Doom IWAD) you can create a completely free dungeon crawls game.
Note, if you're downloading the compiled exe instead of the Python files that it has been "frozen" with pyInstaller. The way the exe is formed sometimes makes virus sofware suspicious (try googling "windows blocked pyinstaller" for info). If you feel better about not using the exe just download Python 3 and use the python files. The doomstarter.pyw file is the entrypoint.
The latest changes to V1.2 were designed to make the user interface much more compact so that people running Windows screens on Zoom 150% can still see all the buttons.
