Category: MinGW Installer >Group: Aged issue >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Sergey Kuleshov (sergey007) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: MinGW-4.1.1.exe should be in Current and not Previous Initial Comment: Hello! After I made a fresh installation on a new machine I wanted to install MinGW onto it. And was surprised to see that Current braanch doesn't have a ususal MinGW-<version>.exe! It took me quite a while to figure out that MinGW-4.1.x.exe can actually download the Current versions, even though it is located in Previous branch. So my suggestion is that MinGW-4.1.x.exe should *always* be either in Current or even outside the whole brach as it can download version by users' choice. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Earnie Boyd (earnie) Date: 2013-01-11 09:28 Message: The mingw-get installer replaces this issues concerns. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=1310112&group_id=2435 |
