I develop day and night for a first Technical Refresh. We have a good message that SBM is now working using the DOS emulation and emulating the binary in an emulator.
A very-nice Windows Setup is finished and will be first-published on the developer's site http://www.viennacomputerproducts.com/index.php?page=smart-boot-manager the next days, when I can say SBM is stable.
I have uploaded two new screenshots how the next version could look like, (warning, over 1 MB high resolution screenshots!)

The developments has been re-started. I took over the project and will continue the development efforts.
The first thing to do is to ensure quality and to make a technical refresh. This includes a new Setup routine for Windows for an easy installation of Smart Boot Manager.
If anyone wants to help this project feel free to contact me (Peter Kleissner).
I hope I can start a new era of System development and want to thank all users of SBM.
I have no time and interest to maintain SBM anymore. But I hope SBM will not die. If anyone is interested in maintaining this project, please feel free to contact me. I'll give you all my resource of this project to support you.
CVS repository has been updated to version 3.7-1. Files of Smart BootManager 3.7-1 have been uploaded.
Smart BootManager 3.0 was tested to be fully compatible with Solaris 8, Windows 2000, FreeBSD, GNU/Linux, BeOS, DOS, Windows 9x/NT, OS/2 and Novell Netware!
Fixed a bug in DOS installation.
Upgraded the documents.
Added the Solaris partition ID.
There are only a few changes between release 1 and 2. I wrote a simple document with sgml.
