This is an Excel based VBA script used to import bulk .VCF files that contain more than 1 Vcard and then convert them to a comma separated .CSV file or Excel xls file that can then be imported into Outlook, Google, or any other application that supports import of contacts using CSV files. This has been written to support VCF 2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 formatted files including those with printable encoding (MIME) and has been tested with bulk VCF files from Backupify, Google Contacts (Gmail Contacts), Apple IOS, Samsung Android devices and other platforms. If this doesn't work for you, please email me the VCF file and I'll modify the code to support your specific VCF format. To use, simply download and open the Excel file (xlsm), Enable Macros if prompted, and then select the VCF file you wish to import. Once complete, Excel will create and save new file titled VCFExport.csv that can also be saved in Excel format. -

Command-line sql JDBC tool
jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'. -

This converter bridges from the .ahn file format into GEDCOM 5.5.1, It's a command-line tool written in Java. AhnConvert allows family data, laboriously grabbed decades ago surviving into state-of-the art genealogy software products. The software "Familien Chronik" by Reiner W. Dudde was a genealogy software published by Data Becker as part of the "Goldene Serie" series, back in the 1990's. Especially in Germany this tool penetrated the market to some extent. Generating a project and filling in all relatives and ancestors resulted in an .ahn file. Unfortunatelly, this format cannot be imported by any of the current genealogy software. On the other side, GEDCOM can be read without problems by most of today's programs. -

This CSV and TXT file splitter firstly allows you to work with large data files. We have tested this on the largest CSV file we could find. It had over 25.6 Million rows. Microsoft Excel can only load 1 Million rows. So the challenege was on! Splitting a file in this case by 990,000 rows made sure that it was more than capable to load into excel. Splitting 25.6Million rows took aroud 50 minutes. Has been tested reading 25Million rows which took around 15 seconds to read. Its made using the .NET framework version 4.6 -

You have been struggling with SPSS databases when you needed to use excel? Well, this file (or the VBA module attached to it) will help you: you paste your CVS file format into one sheet, and the bulky strings will all your values will gently be split into one value per column by a custom excel function, The function takes into account that some values might be strings with comas that should not be split into different variables. The custom function should be usable for other types of files, it basically disaggregare a string into values separated by a standard character (by default the coma, but can be changed) and ignores separation characters that are within "string identifier" characters (by default the " ). It is a very simple excel file, you need to allow the macros to use it. -

Java XML to CSV (XML2CSV) generic conversion facility. Flattens one or more similar XML files into CSV projections. I made it in order to extract data from big XML files and gather them in files more easily opened with a spreadsheet because I didn't find anything adapted to my needs over the Internet when I needed to (Java + truly generic + self-contained algorithm + Unix like command line options + efficiency). It is packaged as an auto executable Jar for convenient command line execution but might as well be interfaced directly by a Java class as part of a broader [yet non commercial] software. It handles attributes, repeated elements, and so on, and produces results which level up with what spreadsheets generate when they import native XML (at least in its most extensive execution mode). Database to CSV
"Database to CSV" project stores/loads data between database and CSVs
"Database to CSV" allows to back-up data from database(Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) in the form of CSV files. Each table data is stored in a separate CSV file. It also allows to load data from CSV files into the database. Program can be run from UI or from command line. There's one more advanced feature which allows merging of data from CSV file to Database. It is only available from command line. (It will take foreign keys and unique keys into consideration and then try to insert data with minimum change as possible). Note: 1) If tables do not exist, this program will not automatically create table while loading data from CSV. -
