Open Source ChromeOS CSV Software

This is an Excel based VBA script used to import bulk .VCF files that contain more than 1 Vcard and then convert them to a comma separated .CSV file or Excel xls file that can then be imported into Outlook, Google, or any other application that supports import of contacts using CSV files. This has been written to support VCF 2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 formatted files including those with printable encoding (MIME) and has been tested with bulk VCF files from Backupify, Google Contacts (Gmail Contacts), Apple IOS, Samsung Android devices and other platforms. If this doesn't work for you, please email me the VCF file and I'll modify the code to support your specific VCF format. To use, simply download and open the Excel file (xlsm), Enable Macros if prompted, and then select the VCF file you wish to import. Once complete, Excel will create and save new file titled VCFExport.csv that can also be saved in Excel format.

jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'.

csv2odf can create business intelligence reports from csv data sources with output to ods, odt, html, xlsx, or docx documents. It uses a template file that you design to control the layout, fonts, and colors. Just query your database with output to csv (or tsv), then use csv2odf to insert the data into your template to produce a nice looking formatted output. It is a command line tool and you can automate the generation of reports by using scripts and cron. It can be used to create spreadsheets and documents for LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office Excel and Word. This converter bridges from the .ahn file format into GEDCOM 5.5.1, It's a command-line tool written in Java. AhnConvert allows family data, laboriously grabbed decades ago surviving into state-of-the art genealogy software products. The software "Familien Chronik" by Reiner W. Dudde was a genealogy software published by Data Becker as part of the "Goldene Serie" series, back in the 1990's. Especially in Germany this tool penetrated the market to some extent. Generating a project and filling in all relatives and ancestors resulted in an .ahn file. Unfortunatelly, this format cannot be imported by any of the current genealogy software. On the other side, GEDCOM can be read without problems by most of today's programs.

Component or component groups can be assigned to feeder slots by drag and drop. Any modifications for PCB population can be defined to generate PCB variants, consider rotations from unusual tape and reel packaging or to account in advance for CAD library or PCB design bugs. Generated setup data is stored in a seperate project file. Succeeding PCB revisions what contain redesign changes can be merged with existing project setup data. Inconsistencies are highlighted to solve them by new assignements and unused feeders can be cleaned up with a single push. Finally a machine program is generated in Heeb HE50 format and downloaded to the machine interface.

Omni is a Java package for reading and writing a variety of data file formats. Currently, Omni supports formats such as CSV, tab-delimited, pipe-delimited, and fixed-width files. There are future plans for more formats.

Super CSV is a fast, programmer-friendly, open-source library for reading and writing CSV files with Java. PLEASE NOTE: As of January 2015 we have now moved to GitHub (https://github.com/super-csv/super-csv). This SourceForge page will remain, but with limited functionality (please go to GitHub to report issues and for project downloads). It is highly configurable, and supports reading and writing with POJOs, Maps and Lists. It also has support for deep-mapping and index-based mapping with POJOs, using the powerful Dozer extension. Its flexible 'Cell Processor' API automates data type conversions (parsing and formatting Dates, Integers, Booleans etc) and enforces constraints (mandatory columns, matching against regular expressions etc) - and it's easy to write your own if required.
