Medusa
An open source interactive disassembler
Medusa is a disassembler designed to be both modular and interactive. It runs on Windows and Linux, it should be the same on OSX. This project is organized as a library. To disassemble a file you have to use medusa_text or qMedusa. Medusa requires the following libraries: boost >= 1.55 (system, filesystem, thread, date_time), OGDF (required git), and Qt5 >= 5.2 for the GUI. You also need CMake for compilation and a C++11 compiler (VS2015 update 2 on Windows). Git is optional but allows to clone remote repository for specific features. If you do not wish to install the various dependencies on your system, you can use this docker image instead. Even though it is working out of the box, you may want to customize it to suit your needs or for added security (e.g. restrict ssh access to public key authentication only). -

AppMaker

AppMaker is a simple application that allows you to create a Mac OS X Application Bundles from a JAR File. You can select your own icon and application title (or leave the standard title and icon) and you can also disable your dock icon, which is great for MenuBar applications. Since JAR Bundler was gone from XCode for a while and most of the time it was a lot of trouble to make the final application run properly, I was motivated to build a simple app that could deliver the same result easily. -

UniSIMD-assembler
SIMD macro assembler unified for ARM, MIPS, PPC and x86
UniSIMD assembler is a high-level C/C++ macro assembler framework unified across ARM, MIPS, POWER and x86 architectures. It establishes a subset of both BASE and SIMD instruction sets with clearly defined common API, so that application logic can be written and maintained in one place without code replication. The assembler itself isn't a separate tool, but rather a collection of C/C++ header files, which applications need to include directly in order to use. At present, Intel SSE/SSE2/SSE4 and AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 (32/64-bit x86 ISAs), ARMv7 NEON/NEONv2, ARMv8 AArch32 and AArch64 NEON, SVE (32/64-bit ARM ISAs), MIPS 32/64-bit r5/r6 MSA and POWER 32/64-bit VMX/VSX (little/big-endian ISAs) are mostly implemented (/w horizontal reductions) although scalar improvements, wider SIMD vectors with zeroing/merging predicates in 3/4-operand instructions are planned as extensions to current 2/3-operand SPMD-driven vertical SIMD ISA. Code Red Sim
A low-power ISA design and simulator for a 2010 IEEE competition
This is a student project designed to compete in the 2010 IEEE Computer Society Student Competition: http://www.computer.org/portal/web/competition/2010competition The Code Red architecture is designed for extremely lower power environments, like distributed sensor networks. Included is a design of that architecture, a Java-based simulator, an implementation (without vector instructions) designed as a Logisim circuit (http://ozark.hendrix.edu/~burch/logisim/), and more. The name "Code Red" comes from our team name, the Red Team. Since the competition dictated a small team size, our professor split the class and gave each group a color. We liked the name "Code Red" and chose it to represent our team and school's color (UMass' official color is Maroon.) Only later did we realize that "Code Red" was the name of an unrelated computer worm from 2001. -

Smederevo, 05, august 2018 Long time ago, about 1986 I have become proud owner of eight bit computer ORAO based on MOS 6502 processor. It was first and for me the best home computer at that time. My whole knowledge of computer programming begins with that computer. Recently for some unknown reason I have become interested in old eight bit computers again. After short search on the Internet I have found emulator of my favorite computer. It literally emulates every peace of hardware installed in real computer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orao_%28computer%29 Unfortunately programming on emulator is also not so easy as it was on real computer, considering today modern tools. There are some external tools that enables writing program code in external text processor, and converting it to document acceptable by emulator. So I have came to an idea to write a small and simple program that will enable easier programming and exporting program code to format recognizable by emulator. -

Emulator of the ancient 8 bit microprocessor ISP-8A 500D/600D or more common "SC/MP" from National Semiconductor. The download contains all sources plus an executable Java Jar file to start right away. Some SC/MP hex dump examples are provided in directory "/etc" as well. The download also contains unit tests and some helping documentation (also in /etc). You may slow down the CPU operations, displaying the CPUs status register as LEDs, to watch the CPU working with its registers. The emulator also contains a VDU (video display unit) output / ASCII input simulation. There are some demos in /etc. And have a look to the NIBL / TINY BASIC interpreter in the TINYBASIC folder, most of the code is over 40 years old. Have fun, Theo Heinrichs -

A disassembler and a simulator for the MSP430 CPU. Both programs only read TI-TXT files. Licensed under the Simple Public License (SimPL) 2.0. For full license information, please read license.txt. Compiled executables are available for Windows and Mac OS X. Linux users will have to compile their own binaries. Instructions for compilation are included in README.txt. A Qt-based GUI is available for sim430. Binaries only for OS X, for now. Source files can be found in src/qt folder.
