DeepEX is a powerful, advanced geotechnical application for the design and analysis of deep excavation projects. It enables engineers to perform structural and geotechnical design of any deep excavation model in one package, supporting wall types such as soldier piles, secant/tangent piles, sheet piles, and diaphragm walls, multiple support systems, including anchored walls, braced excavations with struts or rakers, top-down excavations with slabs and deadman walls, and allows modelling in 2D or full 3D. It supports various analysis methods, including limit equilibrium, non-linear (using elastoplastic Winkler springs) and finite element analysis; it integrates both structural and geotechnical checks, works with international steel member databases and design codes, offers automated workflows for rapid modelling (including voice-command entry and model wizards), and can export drawings and sketches or immersive 3D visualizations.

About

The QMSys GUM Software is suitable for the analysis of the uncertainty of physical measurements, chemical analyses and calibrations. The software uses three different methods to calculate the measurement uncertainty. GUF Method for linear models, this method is applied to linear and quasi-linear models and corresponds to the GUM Uncertainty Framework. The software calculates the partial derivatives (the first term of a Taylor series) to determine the sensitivity coefficients of the equivalent linear model and then calculates the combined standard uncertainty in accordance with the Gaussian error propagation law. GUF Method for nonlinear models, this method is provided for nonlinear models with the symmetric distribution of the result quantities. In this method, a series of numerical methods are used, e.g. nonlinear sensitivity analysis, second and third-order sensitivity indices, quasi-Monte Carlo with Sobol sequences.
