Chinese Font Problems

Chinese font stopped showing correctly in the following fields:
- Gloss
- Secondary Gloss
- Datum

It does show correctly in the following fields:
- Special Semantics
- Remarks

I have not changed my font setting; it is still Arial Unicode MS, which in the past showed Chinese fonts correctly.

Changing the font (e.g. to Charis SIL, Doulos SIL or anything else) does not solve the problem.

I think the problem surfaced when I downloaded Charis SIL onto my computer. However, removing Charis SIL from my computer does not now fix the problem.

replace vector doesn't recognize grapheme clusters

[Version 2.0] Replace vector does not seem to recognize
grapheme clusters, because when I try to replace a
vector in a lexeme which contains a grapheme cluster
(even if the final segment count is identical) it gives
me an error message (can not replace due to different
glyph counts).

copy/replace vector erratic behavior

[Version 2.0] When I have tried to use the copy/replace
vector commands in the Annotate tab, it rarely works.
I create a vector I want to copy and click copy vector.
Wordcorr asks if I really want to do this (with the
vector I want showing up nicely in the dialog box),
then after I say yes usually what happens instead of
replacing is that it keeps the old vector as is and
erases the vector on the line I am copying from! So it
is more like a "cut" than "copy", and even then it only
might work once.

Edit Datum OK in Data, not in Annotate

In 2.1.0 test 2, the Edit Datum button on the Annotate
panel went dead. I can do alignments by double clicking
the Aligned column, but not using the button, and I
have no access to grapheme clusters. So I can't
continue testing.

Wordcorr 2.0 crashes if collection metadata missing

Wordcorr 2 often crashes or hangs when you try to work
with an imported file without the required metadata
fields. What seems to sometimes get "forgotten" is the
collection information from imported XML files (e.g.
from version 1.3 which didn't ask for that metadata.
Even when I enter it in (using v2), it sometimes
(always?) gets lost the next time I open the program.
Pretty much anything that wasn't in v1.3 gets lost;
i.e. everything I enter except Collection Title, Short
Title, Primary and Secondary Gloss Language and

infinite error loop Name Field Required

In WordCorr 2, sometimes one gets the error message:
"The Name field is required. Please enter a value."
However, there is no place to enter a value.
Dismissing the dialog box does no good, because as soon
as you try to do anything whatsoever, it comes up
again. You can't even exit WordCorr normally -- you
have to kill it. I've had reports of this from three
different individuals. In at least one case, upon
restarting WordCorr, the error message loop happens
again -- rendering WordCorr completely useless.

Export XML clashes with SP2

Microsoft Windows SP2 won't allow you to open the .zip
file created by WordCorr when export XML. There isn't a
convient way then to back-up your data.

Can't turn off Annotate sound

While in the annotate screen, if you double click on
the datum field to annotate there is a PONG noise which
is probably a default windows sound. This is very
tiresome to hear again and again. There should be an
option to turn off this sound. It may occur in other
screens as well.

Scrolling in Users and Collections Column

When the lefthand column for users and collections
contains more collections than can be shown at the
same time in the space available, only the top ones can
be seen. Any collections which are invisible on the
bottom cannot be scrolled to, although they can be
selected if they user knows how many times to click the
down-arrow without being able to see the collection in
question.

Add Collection and Add Variety windows opening too low

The Add Collection and Add Variety windows tend to
open too low on the screen: the lower part of the
window is hidden off-screen. Every time they are used,
the windows have to be dragged up to be fully visible.
