When ntlmv2 auth is required, winexe v1.1 does not allow authentication with proper credentials.

I set my smb.conf to allow auth with ntlmv2, but no luck. I found the following line in the winexe.c source code:

lpcfg_set_option(cmdline_lp_ctx, "client ntlmv2 auth=no");

If I understand correctly (probably not) but that prevents ntlmv2 auth no matter what is specified in the smb.conf file. Is this correct?

If it is correct, I am sure there is a reason so I have to ask why.

Thanks in advance for any insight and an enhancement if possible.

Static exe built with samba 4.0.9, works when NTLMv2 auth is not forced.

Best Regards,
Eric

    no ntlmv2 option removed, it partially solved authentication issue, which I belive is already solved by another patch. Thanks for pointing it out,
