WWC 2.1.1 on windows

Hi guys,

i tried to install WWC 2.1.1 on a windows system in order to test the access to the registry.
Installing seems to work fine, but trying to access the registry. There is no omar.war or anything else similar in the webapps-directory nor is there any configured context in the sever.xml ?

Is it a windows-specific problem ?

No messages over SMTP

Hello everybody,
I can send and receive ebxml Message using SMTP protocol. I can see the
messages (incoming and outgoing) in the database. But why, I cannot find
the messages in the directory like ebxml messages over HTTP(S) or AS2?

Can someone give me a hint?

Exception in dispatcher version 1.1.11 in debug mode

Hello everybody,

WebswellConnect version 2.0.6.
webswellDispatcher version 1.1.11.
OS System: Windows2k

I have the following exception comming from the dispatcher. I tried to start the dispatcher in debug mode using IDE Eclipse.

The class SAXContentHandler throws this exception.

Here is the output:
The prefix "log4j" for element "log4j:configuration" is not bound in line 4.

The file that dispatcher is trying to parse is: "log4j.properties.xml". The file is in the piazza-commons.jar.

Has someone seen that before? And how may I overcome this problem?

I need the following format:

[2.1.0] Post-Installer fails to create the webswell user

[Webswell Connect 2.1.0] After copying the files the installer tries to excecute some post installation scripts.

The first step is the creation of a webswell user.

It executes /usr/sbin/adduser which works fine for e.g. CentOS 5.0, but fails for openSUSE 10.2, where the correct command should be /usr/sbin/useradd.

In CentOS 5.0, /usr/sbin/adduser is "only" a symbolic link to /usr/sbin/useradd. openSUSE does not have such a symbolic link.

starting webeswellDispatcher failed

Here is a short description of the host where the webswellconnect (version 2.0.6) is installed.
OS: win2k (SP4)
intel pentium p3 1.6 GHz
The webswellConnect should only used for AS2 and no repository isn't needed so not installed .

The version of the WebswellDispatcher is 1.1.18

registry: login (->create object) failes

Hi,

after connecting to the registry (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9365/omar) I created an "user account" with the wizard (Link "Create User Account" in left menu).
I've got a certificat-file named "generated-key.p12".
After that I imported the certificate to my Browser (Firefox Version2.0/Mozilla 5.0):

Then I "restarted" the browser and connected to the registry. I tried to log in for adding an object to the registry.
After pressing the "login" button there is still "Registry Guest" shown in the browser as current user and the following error occurs in the registry log

So I was not able to login and I also was not able to add objects in the repository.
I've created my certificate and also imported it in the browser some days ago. At the same day I was able to add some items in the repository...

If I know do again the whole certificate-import in the browser, I again was able to add some items in the registry (but above error still is in the logs).

registry: delete object failes

Hi,

finally my WebswellClients are all running :-))))).
Now I created a new Registry Objekt at the registry:

1) connect to registry: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9365/omar/registry/thin/WelcomePage.jsp
2) login to registry = > registry:
https://143.93.78.142:8344/omar/registry.....
3) Created a new Registry Object (a CPP-Registry Object. the CPP.xml was uploaded to the registry)
4) Searched the Registry Object (and found it
5) tried to delete registry Object (in browser with same user I created it)
=> ERRROR:

In my opinion that could not be, because I#ve just created a registry object and this is only possible if I'm authenticated......

On the Registry server I looked at catalina.out in /usr/local/WebswellConnect/tomcat-registry/logs.
