Recent changes to new-features

DWL-G650M?

I've got a PCMIA based DWL-G650M and a miniPCI that
both aren't supported by warlinux. I'd go out and
buy a new card but my budget doesn't permit that??
Can I expect to see a driver for this in an upcoming
version or is there another driver that I can use for
it???

Please consider supporting older laptops without a
CD-ROM and with little RAM. It took me quite a while to
find the /sbin/shell file which I needed to modify for
a harddisk boot. Quite a crazy approach to start an
initfile, isn't it? What if I decide to restart the
shell on tty1? Also the ramdisk is a little too big for
my laptop (40 MB RAM), provided there is enough space
on the hard drive for temporary files.

change it so it uses a diff prog to boot up cuz it won't
boot on my laptop (ibm thinkpad 380ed)

warlinux has great potential for wireless analysis, from
and outsider's perspective, would it make send to merge
or at leasr share code/work with the F.I.R.E project also
known as Biatchux
http://sourceforge.net/projects/biatchux/ ?? The project
has compiled a number of tools for forenics, incident
response, and pentetration testing. I think the merger of
the two project may help each other accelerate
development of both goals.

Fred,
I really like your WarLinux Distro. Great job. I
would however like to see the distro include the
following in a future release.

X Windows (Gnome or KDE desktop, doesn't matter)
Ethereal GUI
NMAP
NMAPFE
NESSUS (Server + Client)
Apache Webserver

I will try to work on this myself if and when I can
find some free time. If I get them implemented anytime
soon, I will let you know.

Right now, I have Warlinux installed on a mini-CD and
it works like a champ. Let me know if you would be
interested in trying to put the distro on a Flash Media
memory card. There would be application for that as well.
