cannot compile project with Xcode 2.5

I get the error:

error: On systems later than OS X 10.4, Xcode 2.5 cannot build jambase (legacy) targets.

Can anyone help?

This group is apparently harly still alive, and I want to

interface greyed out in audio MIDI setup

Hello,
I would like to use the opcode studio 4 serial midi patcher in OS-X
via the Belkin F5U103.
I succeeded in installing the BelkinF5U103Driver.kext.
After installing the stealth mididriver.plugin into /LibraryIAudio/Midi
drivers, I used the stealth Midi Setup application to choose stealth
midi driver for serial port F5U103BL1089. I configured 8 ports.
This creates a standard interface in the audio MIDI setup with 8 in
and out ports.
The problem is: this interface is greyed out. Test config on its ports
doesn't send midi information. In Logic Pro 7 no midi channels
have been created either.

Any help will be appreciated

Panther complains

After I've logged on to Panther .4, I get the following error dialog:

"The system extension /system/library/extensions/
BelkinF5U103Driver.kext was installed improperly and cannot be
used. Please try reinstalling it or contact the vendor for an
update."

Any suggestions?

Error message "installed improperly"

On iMac G4 800, OS X 10.3.5: droppped the Belkin
F5U103Driver.kext file into the System/Library/Extensions folder,
and restarted machine. The following error message appeared:
"System extension cannot be used. The system extension (location
& filename) was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please
try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update".

How should I have installed this (presuming it's not just an
incompatibility with 10.3.5)? I know my way around the Mac OS,
but I have yet to get my feet wet with UNIX.

Any help gratefully received!
