Atom support and some RSS/RDF changes

The primary purpose of this patch is to add Atom support, although it reorganises the feed parsing in general.

Specific functional change to RDF/RSS feed parsing is for the parser to find all <item> elements in a feed, whether or not they are in a <channel> element.

Also another change to the file struct to add a convenience constructor, and to alter the file size type to off_t (which should theoretically work more reliably with more operating systems).

- Changed a lot of things to work in a more STL-way.
- General code simplification.
- Some bugfixes and, no doubt, bugs introduced.
- Some Makefile changes.

Patch to the Makefile to update the main po file

This patch adds a new target, "updatetrans", to the main Makefile to update the po/en_GB.po file from the sources.
