#864 Crash when importing furniture

Everytime I try to import a model in version 6.0 the app crashes.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open menu "Furniture/Import furniture"
  • Select a zip file, give the furniture a name and a category, follow the steps until the last (see attachment)
  • click on the "Finish" button
  • observe a crash.

The following message is printed in the terminal when the app crashes:

My system is Ubuntu 18.10, uname -rp says 4.18.0-13-generic x86_64. The "about" dialog says Version 6.0 Java version 1.8.0_181 / 64 bit / 1.8 GB max Java 3D version 1.6.1.

    Fedora 29 (64 bit) can't import furnature either.

    Did any of you ever manage to resolve this bug? I'm experiencing the same issue on Debian runnning on a Chromebook.
