I'm generally very happy with storeBackup's functionality, but there's one issue that regularly causes disk overflows. I'm using the keepRelative option with something like 1d 2d 7d. Now let's say I run the backup for the first time on day0, and from then on once every day. Then storeBackup manages the individual backups according to the description of keepRelative except for the backup from day0 which never gets deleted, not after 7 days, not after 3 months. This causes trouble if the contents of the disk to be backed up changes completely, because the backup disk then stores the old contents from day0 plus the current contents, resulting in the overflow mentioned at the beginning.
So my question is, why the first (=oldest) backup never gets removed.
Thanks in advance,
