Using 10.7.4, Xcode 4.4.1.

Installed boost 1.50.0
./configure works
but make fails:

$ make

Problem building win binaries using Cygwin

Hello,

Using:
- Cygwin
- gcc-core C compiler 3.4.4-999
- gcc-g++ C++ compiler 3.4.4-999
- gcc-mingw-g++ 20050522-1
- WinXP SP3

When I build srecord 1.52 for Cygwin (in Cygwin), all goes well:

CC='gcc' CXX='g++ -I/usr/include/boost-1_33_1' ./configure

make

patch test_prelude file on line 51
cd $here --> cd "$here"

make sure

Passed All Tests

But when I build for Windows (in Cygwin), the compilation fails:

CC='gcc -no-cygwin' CXX='g++ -mno-cygwin -I/usr/include/boost-1_33_1' ./configure

make

--> Errors

g++ -mno-cygwin -I/usr/include/boost-1_33_1 -g -O2 -I. -c \ lib/srec/input/filter/message/gcrypt.cc
In file included from lib/srec/input/filter/message/gcrypt.cc:22:
./lib/srec/memory/walker/gcrypt.h:24:20: gcrypt.h: No such file or directory
In file included from lib/srec/input/filter/message/gcrypt.cc:22:
./lib/srec/memory/walker/gcrypt.h:54: error: expected `)' before "handle"
./lib/srec/memory/walker/gcrypt.h:65: error: `gcry_md_hd_t' has not been declared

and lots of other errors following...

Seems like the file C:\cygwin\usr\include\gcrypt.h can not be found...

When I try

CC='gcc -no-cygwin' CXX='g++ -mno-cygwin -I/usr/include/boost-1_33_1 -I/usr/include' ./configure

This results in:

checking for boost/shared_ptr.hpp... no

You need to install the Boost C++ library to be able to compile SRecord.
http://boost.org/

If you have a package based system, the package you need to
install will be called libboost-devel or something similar.

So this doesn't seem to be the solution.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can someone please update the windows binaries that are available for download? Or point me to where they are available?
