Spamato. As we already ask for the user's email address&lt;br /&gt;
(for Trooth), we could also use this information (or&lt;br /&gt;
rather: the userID, not the email address itself) to&lt;br /&gt;
register with the statistics server. This would not&lt;br /&gt;
compromise the user's privacy (She doesn't have to&lt;br /&gt;
register/provide a correct email address anyway), but&lt;br /&gt;
it would help to figure out why there are much more&lt;br /&gt;
downloads on SourceForge than registered user accounts.&lt;/p&gt;
