Hello Thomas,
When someone uses notifications field in calendar module i.e.. Every time the users receive the email of the new appointment they receive a link for the details in the form:
Details:
http://localhost/database_folder/bin/index.php?view=details&folder=xxxxx&itemzzzz=yyy
this way the users can't open the details because the link points to localhost.
How can I change localhost to te IP or Host name of the computer that simple groupware is installed on?
Is there a way to edit the email sent by the notification field?

You have to edit your hosts file in windows to include a hostname for your 127.0.0.1 , apparently you have not defined a hostname in your hosts file for your domain correctly,
