For laptop use on different locations, or to choose between a production database and a "dev" or "test" version, for local multi-use (different departmens with own data) etc.
What is needed is the choice of the "file" in use; together with the database/table switch, other parameters should switch along. For that, more parameter values per current parameter have to been stored, e.g. a section per file, or parameters numbered or named in the current parameter file. (to stay backwards compatible?).
