If SEB picks up the settings from the config file properly it says someting like: New settings have been saved, they will be used etc. Do you want to continue?
I would like to set this text in the Config Tool to make it more personal and mention the name of our college.
I don't think such a feature would be in our interest, unless some of our SEB Consortium Members would ask for it. We have to limit the SEB feature set to functionality which is widely requested (SEB already now has a quite rich feature set which causes for example our testing team to complain every time before an update).
What we may implement is a setting to suppress the "client settings reconfigured" message.
Good idea! The question itself is a bit confusing for new users; they open SEB and are asked immediately if they want to close it for now. I think that more experienced users understand it, but they also know where the exit button is... So, another option to minimize confusion is to change the message to "Your SEB settings are succesfully set" and only show an 'ok' button.
That's actually something I was also thinking of, in the iOS version it's exactly like that (which also has to do with the fact that iOS apps are never quit, the user moves away from it) and I think that is much clearer. "close it for now" was meant as a convenience option, but it probably confuses more than it helps.
I (of course) agree completely (-;
