By reaching out to Twip’s support team, users can get help with login errors, payment or donation issues, stream integrations, or general platform troubleshooting. Providing detailed information—such as the issue description, screenshots, and relevant account details—helps the support team respond faster and offer an accurate solution, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience on the platform.

Validation of Screen Ruler

At this time, the Screen Ruler tool has not been formally validated under a documented Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) aligned with regulated quality system standards. Therefore, we do not have a validation certificate or calibration documentation available.

While the tool is commonly used to measure online screen elements with precision, it has not been certified for use in regulated environments. If validation is required for your internal use, we recommend performing a risk-based validation in accordance with your organization’s quality system.

We can support this effort by providing version history, release notes, and basic technical specifications upon request.

Feature request: Diagnol (or even better — freely rotational) mode

Hi, thanks for great software.

My subject line says it all.

Like, right now I can only measure horizontal and/or vertical. It would be cool if I could either have a diagonal mode, or even better, a mode with a hotkey that lets you rotate it with for example the mouse, as much as you want. There are times when you need to measure things that are not perpendicular! :)

C. However, the new setting wasn't saved, and my screen still shows an unusual ruler scale.

Installer would be nice

I agree with Miguel. I just spent an hour trying to figure out how to copy a shortcut for screenruler.exe to my start menu shortcuts folder. No joy. Online instructions for locating the relevant folder didn't work, even though I unhid the folders in the relevant path. There needs to be an easy way to get this program in there. I really don't want to go get an installer app in order to do this. Can anyone help?

Installer would be nice

Miguel: You can make an installer with Inno setup Compiler, it is simple to do. I have created with Inno setup compiler a setup.exe that works. I am only worried about the portable, I uploaded only the .exe to virus total and it gives me several detections (about 3); possibly a false positive.

Setting the ruler percentage starting at 1 to 100 for displaying the width 1 to 100 only

Is there a way to set the ruler so only the percentage numbers range from 1 to 100%? The screen ruler is very useful to me to keep my place on a document on my right monitor when entering data from the document into my accounting software on my left monitor, but each time I open Screen Ruler I have to change the color, opacity, choose slim, and hide the ruler scale. I don't see a portable.config file in the app folder. I do see a screenruler.exe.config

Installer would be nice

Are there any plans to create an installer?
