<div class="markdown_content"><p>After months of work, Valhalla now has a comprehensive test suite based upon SimpleTest (http://simpletest.org/).</p> <p>The test suite allows for better code quality of future releases, as well as nice features like regression testing to help squash nasty bugs once and forever.</p> <p>Something fairly unique to Valhalla is that the test suite also supports pluggable test cases for plugins that are developed by third parties. <div class="markdown_content"><p>Valhalla is progress has been placed on hold until a full unit testing framework has been implemented for the existing classes.</p> <p>Once in place, the testing framework will allow users to easily and effectively test the stability of Valhalla on their own system.</p> <p>The framework will also have the capability for individual test cases to be provided with each plug-in class, allowing third party developers to utilise the test suite also.</p> <p>Development is about 30% complete and will be based upon SimpleTest (http://simpletest.org/).</p> <p>Stay tuned for more info!</p></div>
