Display DataPoints on Labels

Can i display datapoints(database values) in labels when a vertical guide line is moved along the graph with reference to TextItem class or is there any alternative way to do this.

In the text item class to display text:

PointD pd=new PointD(x,y);
TextItem ti=new TextItem(pd,"Welcome");
ti.TextColor=Color.Red;
ps_.Add(ti);
(using the above code not able to display anything on the graph)

I am using NPlot-0.9.10.0
