Eg. say I want to compress AND encrypt some files I could do it in one go (faster and using less disk space) by running something like:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;tar jc myfiles |ncrypt -e &amp;gt;myfiles.tar.bz2.encrypted&lt;/p&gt;

project, is the ability to use the password from a&lt;br /&gt;
file, or the command line, instead of using the prompt.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My intention is to use it on a safe computer (yeah,&lt;br /&gt;
nothing is, but still) and encrypt my automatically&lt;br /&gt;
generated backup and log files, before they are sent&lt;br /&gt;
off for storage (on a less safe computer).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My suggestion is to add the two options:&lt;br /&gt;
-k &amp;lt;key&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
