Hi Noma,

From the screenshot, it looks like it built fine. You can test it by running: ./src/matrixgl

If that works, you can install with sudo make install. Then if you're using xscreensaver you can run ./add-user-entry.sh and then xscreensaver-demo to select the screensaver to run.

Tried to install on another Ubuntu Mate (5.4.0-77-generic) and got similar, see screenshot.

I would really like to be able to run this, so any help is appreciated.

I am using Ubuntu MATE 18.04 64 bit (5.4.0-72-generic), all dependencies are satisfied, ./configure completes without fault.

Then: make gives me:

because of UAC restrictions you can't change the config unless you manually run matrixgl_config.exe as an administrator

Hello The README file is written to matrixgl appeared in cutscenes need to run the script ./add-user-entry of the current user. But this script is not.

Show where I get it or how to start?

Здравствуйте. В файле README написано, для того чтобы matrixgl появился в заставках надо запустить скрипт ./add-user-entry от имени текущего пользователя. НО этого скрипта нет.

Подскажите где его взять или как запустить?

NOT working as a screensaver! WinXP

The program itself is working fine. It's just don't work as a screensaver. Every time when I select it in Display Properties->Screensaver then Apply then Ok - when I reopen Display Properties window again it's reverted to Screensaver - (None). It only works when I select it and press Test.
This is somewhat disappointing. ;-( I've tried to select it many times, tried to restart system after installing and selecting it... Tried reinstalling... The only thing that I haven't tried is dancing around my PC with a tambourine. :-/ (And I don't think that'll help)
Oh, and there is no preview in a small preview window (but many custom screensavers don't use minipreview so this can be normal).

System:
Core 2 Duo E6850
2 GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX (Drivers v196.21(latest) )
Windows XP Pro SP3
