  In all three attempt's to download it, the checksum varried from the one saved in the checksum file, so something is not ok with the download system

Which checksum file are you checking ? You also have 2 version so 2 Checksums

  I were checking both. Not sure what could cause this issue. Is it from the SF side or else. It does need checking.

  Please consider moving Linux Kodachi to other hosting provider (for example: GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
  
  It seem that for some reason, SourceForge is corrupting the downloads (usually the checksum doesn't match) due the multiple redirects and additional pages

  I had informed you about the experienced problem with good itentions, to let you know that such problem is showing and may be doing in the future as well and had offered a solution for it.
  
  Additionally, moving the project to (for example) GitHub could have an additional adventage of bigger support in the development of it by help of volunteers
