Second jpeg in avi doesn't adhere to usec argument

# ls -1 *.jpg
alaska_airlines_720.jpg
grand_hyatt_ny.jpg
h_corvette_black_720.jpg
# jpegtoavi 2000000 640 480 *.jpg > my.avi
# xine my.avi

The second frame (grand_hyatt_ny.jpg) only flashes on
the screen, while the other two show for 2 seconds
properly.

if I rename (so the order changes as to test it's not
the jpeg)
#ls -1 *.jpg
alaska_airlines_720.jpg
corvette_black_720.jpg
grand_hyatt_ny.jpg

# jpegtoavi 2000000 640 480 *.jpg > my.avi
# xine my.avi

bottom of your usage message says

jpegtoavi --fsz {img1 .. imgN}

but it should be
jpegtoavi -fsz {img1 .. imgN}

(only one "-" not two of them)

color space exceeded

after converting of b&white pictures with

convert -crop 315x237+0+0 00000.pgm 00000.jpg
jpegtoavi -f 315 237 00000.jpg > film.avi

I get very strange artefacts in the film
when displaying it with xanim as if
the colorspace has been overstretched,
i.e. (let's say we have 8bit) after
the image color range passes over 255 and
is mapped back to 0.
