Oh my goodness, this would imply that users will add feature requests.

We added the above feature request to JOC-2132: Add File Order Sources to Resources view

The feature is in deferred status, currently not assigned a release. We will check to make this happen for the next branch 2.9 within the next 5 months

it will be helpful if you let us know the version of JobScheduler in use and the OS platform for which it is operated. For releases 1.x, please check if you can send the Master's ./logs/scheduler.log file or an extract covering the idle period and later job execution. For releases 2.x, please forward the related Agent's ./logs/agent.log file.

What precisely is the sleep or standby mode used by your OS?

Job not executing at correct schedule when system idle

Hi all,

I’m facing an issue with JobScheduler where a scheduled job fails to run precisely when the system has been idle for some time. The job is defined to run every hour, but during periods when the system (or server) is in low activity or sleep mode, the next run is delayed or sometimes missed entirely.

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

The scheduler configuration includes “misfire instructions” to handle delayed jobs

The server’s clock/time synchronization is stable (NTP)

Logging shows the next trigger time is set correctly, just not executing

System sleep or standby mode hasn’t been interfering before — I tested settings

I’d love to know: has anyone else seen this behavior? Are there specific configurations or best practices in JobScheduler that ensure scheduled jobs run reliably even after idle/sleep periods?

Thanks for your insights!

Yade 2.0 in Releaseplan 2.7.0

Hi Falang,

Correct — in 2.7.0 there isn’t an enum entry for Amazon cloud transfers. At the moment, only the listed protocols (FTP/S, SFTP, HTTP/S, WebDAV, SMB, etc.) are supported.
Cloud services like S3 would require either extending TransferProtocol or handling them through a separate adapter. As of now, there are no announced plans to add S3 (or similar) directly to the enum.

latest version of the "ORDER STATE TRANSITION-Matrix

Thx, but why does the definition "broken" is missing in the JS7 - Order State Transition"??

Thank you for the information.

The "jobscheduler_object_transition.xlsx" link is working fine now. As per your requirement, the correct reference is "JS7 - Order State Transition", which applies to JS7.

Please find the correct KB article link for your reference:

Please let me know if you need any further information from my side.

Which on of the "Order State Transition - MATRIX" is the latest one?
A. OST-Matrix at the JS7-Homepage under Product-Knowledge-Base -> JS7-Order State Transition
B. Excel-sheet "jobscheduler_object_transition.xlsx (found it with the "search-funktion" -> keyword "broken")

I’ve been working on a similar implementation and found some useful insights.
yes, you can.

As a prerequisite install an Agent side-by-side to a Controller on the same machine.

You can use JS7 - Agentless Scheduling to execute programs and scripts on a remote host that offers SSH connections.

You can use any sort of HTTP client, for example a
curl
command to access remote servers offering HTTP(S) and/or REST API Services. More elaborate solutions include scripting languages using Python, PowerShell etc. to deal with REST API Services and related responses.

Best regards
