This code, according to Axel, was released by him before the 3G iPods came out. The code that reads/writes the database needs to be brought up to the latest spec published here:

General Code Cleanup/Refactoring

Code needs a lot of cleanup/refactoring. It's definitely alpha quality at this point.

Need to change license of code

Code will be licensed under LGPL. The license now states GPL. Need to make sure we give Axel Wernicke proper credit as well.
