Not sure what to do with this. The problem is that if
sobelX (the gradient in x) is 1, then the disturbed
normal should point flat out "towards x". Same for y.
But if both sobel x and y are one, then the disturbed
normal should point to 1,1.
The problem is that should the z vector be zero only if
both x and y are 1 or should the z vector be zero as
soon as either of them exceed 1.
Im re-reading this, and realising it doesnt make much
