Hello Itamar,
for easier analysis of this case,
can you post the images and a sample code with hbp file
demonstration the bug.
The handling of images is a very complex theme.

Hello Itamar,
with commit r3543 a new version of samples/stretch.prg with added transparent bitmap
is pubished.
So in the command docu of HWGUI i give more instructions and
an advice, that the TRANSPARENCY option is ignored because of a bug in GTK
Bugfix will coming soon (if i had time).

So please be patient.
