Looks like something doesn't handle a null pointer very well.
The following steps should recreate the error.
gstd &
gst-client create " filesrc name=f ! jpegdec ! ffmpegcolorspace ! xvimagesink"
gst-client -p /com/ridgerun/gstreamer/gstd/pipe0 get f location string

Signals can not be received on gst-client

Although gstd send state_changed, error and eos signals succesfully, gst-client can not receive them.

Fails decoding audio and video together

Seems to be a deadlock when playing video and audio together

configure process doesn't detect valac is not installed

make distclean
sudo apt-get remove valac
./configure
make

return error

/bin/sh: --pkg: command not found
