GOverlay ToString Method

The following message was emailed directly to sprocketonline (Iain).
Message body follows:

i got the source today from SVN, and wants to try the
MapOverlays.

i used the following code in page load.
GLatLng point = new GLatLng(37.4419, -122.1419);
gMap2.SetCenter(point, 13);
gMap2.AddOverlay(new GMarker(point));

Here is the result in the rendered page:
gMap2_Js.addControl(new GSmallMapControl());
gMap2_Js.addControl(new GMapTypeControl());
gMap2_Js.setCenter(new GLatLng(37.4419,-122.1419),13);
gMap2_Js.addOverlay
(WCPierce.Web.UI.WebControls.GoogleMap.GMarker);

The GMarker seems not working properly.
Is it a known issue or i did something wrong?

JScript runtime error

First of all I want to thank you for this great control.
when I start debugging, the following error is always occurred:
"Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'lat' is null or not an object"

GMarkers dont render with client callbacks enabled

if gMap.EnableClientCallbacks is set to false then GMarkers are correctly rendered in the gMap. However, there is a javascript error in the client callback event plumbing that causes further javascript execution to cease.

Control does not display

I downloaded and built the solution (XP Pro/vs2005/ie v7.0) and when it runs, the control just displays as a grey rectangle without any markers. In design mode for default.aspx, the control displays "Error Rendering Control - gMap, An unhandled exception occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Two steps to cause a huge bug ...

Try this ..

In your GMapX.js change your callback to

function Callback_Complete(result, context)
{
try
{
alert('test');
eval(result);
}
catch(e)
{
Callback_Error(result);
}
}

Now every time there's a callback response, you'll get
displayed with an alert saying 'test'. Try that out
for a bit.

Now for an example of the bug, change the
gmap_markerclick to have the text

return gMap.CenterAndZoom(new GPoint(33F, 151F), 14);

WCP gMap inside an Accordion Control

Hello,

I really appreciate the work you have done to create
and develop the WCPierce Google Map .NET controls.

I am attempting to put a single gMap inside an
AccordionPane inside an Accordion Control.

I can Find the Control and initialize (Center and
Zoom) and add Markers etc. But...

It always displays... no matter what the selected
index of the Accordion becomes.

I have tried writing methods to set .Visible true or
fals, but nothing (shor of making .Visible=false on
PageLoad) will hide the Map.

Is there a way to have the gMap "behave" like other
controls when inside an Accordion Pane?

(I have images, text and Flash controls working fine).
