MacOS Ramdisk causes failure

32M MacOS Ramdisk

If the system has a ramdisk enabled in MacOS, Emile will crash to an unhappy mac somwhere during init.

Disabling the ramdisk clears this issue.

Possible solutions:
1> Do not map macos ramdisk to available memory pool
2> Unmap macos ramdisk during init (preferable)

Debian Installer boots but keyoard was'nt recognised

I've tried to boot emile-debian-installer-0.9 from disk
1. My Machine is an Powerbook190 with 36MB RAM. It
boots succesfully, ejects disk 1 and requests for disk
2. After this, no reaction happens on any key.

Mac IIvx sad mac.

Mac IIvx loads the floppy and about a second into boot
the sad mac icon appears and the booting stops. Has
launcher info and physical memory mapping output before
crash happens.

Mac IIvx 20Mb/1G will be able test on 68Mb soon.

Quadra 605 disk ejecting

Debian install disk boots until VFS eject prompt, then
the ramdisk is read and then the disk keeps on ejecting
(I don't think any of the ramdisk is read it hasn't got
the time to).

Zapping PRAM

if PRAM is zapped and MacOS is not restarted before
booting with EMILE, the first stage is loaded and Mac
hangs (the screen is cleaned)

refuses to boot on SE/30

Emile refuses to boot from floppy on an SE/30.
The screen shows a "sad mac" with the following two
rows of digits under it:
0000000F
0000000C

This occurs with the original emile 0.4 bootdiskette
and with one I made myself with a more recent
kernelimage (2.2.25, march 2004) using the emile-tools.

32bit mode

EMILE hangs just before starting kernel when 32bit mode
is enabled on machine with less than 16MB (perhaps on
other too...)

tested on LCIII with 8MB.

noFPU compatibility

EMILE works and load correctly on machine without FPU.
But kernel is not able to start correctly, it hangs on
first screen after "K".

Seen on LCIII.

Crash if SCSI disk attached

Release 0.3 boots on Quadra 610 only if no SCSI disk is
attached to the bus.
In other case, it displays sad macintosh on black screen.
