unfortunately I can't download because I live in Egypt, the internet is disconnected for 1sec every while, this will cause your monara direct download to stop.

1. Yes, I change the long command "catfish --fileman=thunar --hidden --path=%f" to simple "catfish %f" and " Search" began to work.
2. About problems with "Alt+F3", we don't like the simple decisions. I found this solution
http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=35400 and it is work!
I changed "dmenu" in ~/.config/dmenu/dmenu-bind.sh to "dmenu_run".
So, thanks for response, the problem is solved.

Some problems.

Search files with Catfish; In Thunar Edit>Configure custom actions>+>opens the editing window. In the name field write Find Files and in the command field write catfish %f, click OK.

Alt+F3 is a keybind to an app called dmenu. Just google it. If its a problem, simply uninstall dmenu. Go to rc.xml file in your ~/.config/openbox and delete that keybind. You can open rc.xml from your menu.

Some problems.

Monara,- great follower of Crunchbang. Thanks for it.
I installed Monara without problems, then I made update and upgrade. During exploitation I found some problems.
1. When I try to "search" from file manager, it's not work. Catfish didn't started. When I start Catfish from Menu, all is OK. In preferences of Thunar I see that the search manager is Catfish, but when I click in Thunar button "Search",- nothing happens.
2. Alt Console Menu ( Alt+F3) on my Monara can not function properly. There are only a line for typing in the bottom of the desktop, there's no any suggestions when I typing a command. When I would like to access the Alt Menu by click Alt+F3,and begin to write the first letters of any application, for example "B" , in the Alt Console Menu must will show all application on the Letter "b", but I see only empty line.
Can anybody help?

testing instead of stable?

Sparky Linux is an excellent distro, also from Poland. There is a bit of a difference between Sparky Openbox and Monara. If you want to move Monara to Testing, just change jessie to stretch or testing in /etc/apt/sources.list and update & upgrade.

Crunchbang++ is also a very good installable Openbox distro. That too could be moved to Testing by changing jessie to testing, while installing or after.
Enjoy!

testing instead of stable?

For Debian Testing, try Sparky Linux Openbox. I've used it for years (it's a rolling distro) and the support forums are very good also.

crunchbangplusplus is another good crunchbang sucessor (built on Debian Stable but the iso is install only) and is a very well finished Openbox OS.

testing instead of stable?

Just point the sources.list to stretch, update and dist-upgrade. It'd work.

game folder

Setings>Openbox>GUI Menu and create a Games folder.

testing instead of stable?

I think Crunchbang-Monara is really cool. I like the minimalism. I have played with the live disc a while, and I think one of my current installations might be replaced soon. I would like to give a big thanks to the developers for the awesome job.

However, I have been using Debian long enough to have decided that I prefer testing to stable.

So I wonder if anyone has tried changing the sources list to stretch? Thanks
