Support for QEMU VNC server encoding

I set up a Linux server with KVM virtualization. The QEMU/KVM virtualization provides VNC access to virtual servers, but when I use CotVNC 2.0b4 as a client I only get a black screen or a garbled screen (see attached screenshot).
Using JollyFastVNC does work however, and I think it might have something to do with "Added support for QEMUs special tight encoding" which I found in its changelog. I'm not familiar with VNC encodings, but it would be great if CotVNC could support this as well.
Garbled CentOS installer via CotVNC
Chicken of the VNC has not had any development in 4 years. I maintain a fork called Chicken, which probably suffers from the same bug. If you can reproduce this bug with Chicken and you file a bug report on it, I'll look into it when I get a chance.

Thanks for the heads up. I just tried Chicken 2.1.1 and it seems to handle this situation just fine!
