I'm the fourth to ask for this. Too bad the OP forgot some servers (like Gmail) just don't work without SSL (and it would be easier if it was embedded). I assume you'd just need to support OpenSSL.

tell Blat to access IP address 127.0.0.1, which will be the
stunnel program.
Works like a champ here at home, allowing me to access my
AT&T accounts while connected via DSL.

Thirded. Using a separate tunnel is a good workaround for now - but integrated is nice.
