If you like the Classic Macs Firstclass server and want a BBS of your own, I now offer hosting starting at $15/month. Most of my other offerings are $7/month but FirstClass uses much more resources (largely due to needing a full GUI and not just a text-mode dedicated app) and needs at least 2gb of RAM. Our "basic" servers come with: 4gb RAM, 80gb SSD, 4 core. The BBS runs inside Basilisk II on a Ubuntu host server and you can connect to it to manage it using VNC (Remmina on Ubuntu preferred)....

Mark Volkmann posted a comment on discussion basilisk-user

HyperCard wants the fonts Geneva and Palatino. The launch program opens with 4 sections to fill out. Sections 2-4 are simple enough. But section one is a head scratcher for me. I do not have a CD image for 7.5.3, just a folder that contains all the files. What am I supposed to put here to get the program to run? Cannot find any info about this on Instructions. I got Icab to work for network access and downloaded the sit file for snakes alive from both sites that actually offered it. Both times when firing up the game I manage to move for less than a second, enough to see the snake move for 2 pixels, then boom everything freezes. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm a new user of basilisk II so detailed explanation would be useful!
