NextBus Public Feed Adapter for Java
A Java adapter for the NextBus Public XML Feed Service
Restful Web Service adapter for the NextBus prediction and transit network reporting service. This implementation uses XSD Schema, JAXB and a domain object model to decouple the consuming application from the over-the-wire representation of the data. NextBus is currently providing real-time bus data in several major metro transit agencies including, but not limited to MBTA (Boston), Toronto, Seattle, Brooklyn, Staten Island as well as a number of University towns. In additional to the standalone Adapter, an Enterprise Service Bus pump and demonstration subscription client are available for those interested in Asynchronous integration of the transit feed. -

RSS Event Manager
Allows you to submit events to an RSS feed via rest api (http post)
This tool was originally written to replace the massive amounts of email sent out by automated build scripts. Once this tool is deployed to a server, your scripts can simply use a HTTP Post to submit events, and users can subscribe to the RSS feed to receive updates, instead of receiving an email for each event. It is trivial to add a new feed, and using http to submit events means that firewalls are (usually) not a concern. -

This framework written in object oriented PHP4 can create RSS 2.0 feeds. Because the transformation from objects to RSS feed happens via XSLT, you can just as well transform the objects into whatever you want, if you have your own transformation file.
