The receiver must make a traceroute to the sender using the mtr program (and pressing 'd' once to switch the display mode to the continuous graph). The nagios-statd daemon allows a Nagios server to monitor and alert about various resources on remote Linux machines. If using python >= 2.6 on the remote server, nagios-statd stops accepting connections after 39 consecutive requests in a short period of time.
