BEYE (Binary EYE) is a free, portable, advanced file viewer with built-in editor for binary, hexadecimal and disassembler modes. It contains a highlight AVR/Java/i86-AMD64/ARM-XScale/PPC-64 and other disassembler, full preview of MZ,NE,PE,ELF and other.

I'm preserving Japheth's MS-DOS extender. It features 16bit, and 32bit capabilities with the ability to run 16bit OS/2 program, and 32bit Win32 code on Vanilla MS-DOS.

ANSiMat is a graphical viewer of ANSI art files. It can also be used to convert ANSI (or plain ASCII) files into regular (BMP, TGA, PCX...) graphic files, or into animations (FLC). Altough not initially designed for this, ANSiMat can be successfully used as an ASCII art viewer, or even simple text files viewer. ANSiMat is available for Linux, Windows and DOS. ANSiMat supports also modem emulation speed, therefore it can be used to display ANSI animations.

Emeritus Pong is a clone of the good old "Pong" game. It tries to be relatively close to the original, therefore no fancy graphic or astonishing sound effects there. Emeritus Pong is written to be able to run on any modern PC. There are three versions available: DOS, Windows and Linux. Emeritus Pong features also a cool demo mode, which makes it playing against itself, displaying the current time as scores. The game is programmed to run flawlessly on any modern PC, but it will run on older architectures, too. A 90 MHz Pentium CPU and 2 Mb of RAM should be enough to run comfortably the DOS version. Emeritus Pong may run in any usual resolution, ranging from 320x240 to 1280x1024, fullscreen or windowed. If you would like to use any other video mode (not available from the game's setup), you will have to manually edit the empong.cfg configuration file. Windows and Linux versions require a sound card for sound, and DOS version simply uses the internal PC Speaker.

uHex is a simple and fast, multiplatform hex editor. It's primarily written for DOS, but compiles on POSIX just as well. uHex has been written with care to work fast even on an 8086 CPU, providing support for large files (up to 2 GiB) while using minimal amounts of memory. "uHex" stands for "micro Hex" (it should actually be spelled µHex, but DOS operating systems do not allow non-ASCII symbols in filenames, thus the official name became just "uHex"). uHex supports several video text modes (80x25, 80x43, 80x50.. and any other, as long as it has at least 80 columns), both in color and black & white modes. Hardware requirements (DOS version) uHex has very low requirements.
