    SPX

    SPX

    A simple & straight-to-the-point PHP profiling extension

SPX, which stands for Simple Profiling eXtension, is just another profiling extension for PHP. It differentiates itself from other similar extensions as being totally free and confined to your infrastructure (i.e. no data leaks to a SaaS). Very simple to use: just set an environment variable (command line) or switch on a radio button (web request) to profile your script. Thus, you are free of manually instrumenting your code (Ctrl-C a long running command line script is even supported). Using a dedicated browser extension or command line launcher. Multi metrics capable: 22 are currently supported (various time & memory metrics, included files, objects in use, I/O...). Able to collect data without losing context. For example Xhprof (and potentially its forks) aggregates data per caller / callee pairs, which implies the loss of the full call stack and forbids timeline or Flamegraph based analysis.

    folium

    folium

    Python data, Leaflet.js maps

folium builds on the data wrangling strengths of the Python ecosystem and the mapping strengths of the leaflet.js library. Manipulate your data in Python, then visualize it in on a Leaflet map via folium. folium makes it easy to visualize data that’s been manipulated in Python on an interactive leaflet map. It enables both the binding of data to a map for choropleth visualizations as well as passing rich vector/raster/HTML visualizations as markers on the map. The library has a number of built-in tilesets from OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, and Stamen, and supports custom tilesets with Mapbox or Cloudmade API keys. folium supports both Image, Video, GeoJSON and TopoJSON overlays. To create a base map, simply pass your starting coordinates to Folium. To display it in a Jupyter notebook, simply ask for the object representation. The default tiles are set to OpenStreetMap, but Stamen Terrain, Stamen Toner, Mapbox Bright, and Mapbox Control Room, and many others tiles are built in.

    seaborn

    seaborn

    Statistical data visualization in Python

Seaborn is a Python data visualization library based on matplotlib. It provides a high-level interface for drawing attractive and informative statistical graphics. Seaborn helps you explore and understand your data. Its plotting functions operate on dataframes and arrays containing whole datasets and internally perform the necessary semantic mapping and statistical aggregation to produce informative plots. Its dataset-oriented, declarative API lets you focus on what the different elements of your plots mean, rather than on the details of how to draw them. Behind the scenes, seaborn uses matplotlib to draw its plots. For interactive work, it’s recommended to use a Jupyter/IPython interface in matplotlib mode, or else you’ll have to call matplotlib.pyplot.show() when you want to see the plot.

    JuliaConnectoR

    JuliaConnectoR

A functionally oriented interface for calling Julia from R

This R-package provides a functionally oriented interface between R and Julia. The goal is to call functions from Julia packages directly as R functions. Julia functions imported via the JuliaConnectoR can accept and return R variables. It is also possible to pass R functions as arguments in place of Julia functions, which allows callbacks from Julia to R. From a technical perspective, R data structures are serialized with an optimized custom streaming format, sent to a (local) Julia TCP server, and translated to Julia data structures by Julia. The results of function calls are likewise translated back to R. Complex Julia structures can either be used by reference via proxy objects in R or fully translated to R data structures.

    Architecture as a code

    Architecture as a code

Visualize, collaborate, and evolve the software architecture

Architecture as a code is an open-source modeling language and toolkit that enables software teams to describe, visualize, collaborate on, and maintain software architecture as code. Inspired by the C4 Model and other architectural DSLs, LikeC4 lets you define your system’s structure in a textual DSL and then automatically generate consistent diagrams that reflect that design, ensuring that architecture documentation stays in sync with source code changes. The project includes command-line tooling, IDE integrations, live preview servers, and diagram exporters, letting developers instantly see architectural diagrams update as the model evolves. By treating architecture as code, teams benefit from version control, live collaboration, consistency across diagrams, and the ability to treat architectural change with the same tooling and workflows used for code.

    BlockArrays.jl

    BlockArrays.jl

    BlockArrays for Julia

A block array is a partition of an array into blocks or subarrays, see Wikipedia for a more extensive description. This package has two purposes. Firstly, it defines an interface for an AbstractBlockArray block arrays that can be shared among types representing different types of block arrays. The advantage to this is that it provides a consistent API for block arrays. Secondly, it also implements two different types of block arrays that follow the AbstractBlockArray interface. The type BlockArray stores each block contiguously while the type PseudoBlockArray stores the full matrix contiguously. This means that BlockArray supports fast noncopying extraction and insertion of blocks while PseudoBlockArray supports fast access to the full matrix to use in for example a linear solver.

    Charts.css

    Charts.css

Open source CSS framework for data visualization

Charts.css is a modern CSS framework. It uses CSS utility classes to style HTML elements as charts. No dependencies. 72kb file size. Less than 6kb gzipped file size! Visualization helps end-users understand data. Charts.css help frontend developers turn data into beautiful charts and graphs using simple CSS classes. The data is structured using semantic HTML tags and styled using CSS classes which change the visual representation displayed to the end-user. The framework offers developers flexibility. You choose what components to display and how to style them. Each component offers several CSS classes and CSS variables to customize your style. The key feature is the ability to customize everything using basic CSS. Frontend developers can target any HTML element and customize it. This philosophical guideline is what makes the framework so flexible, easy, and fun to use.
