Open Source C++ Data Visualization Software for Linux

VirtualGL redirects 3D commands from a Unix/Linux OpenGL application onto a server-side GPU and converts the rendered 3D images into a video stream with which remote clients can interact to view and control the 3D application in real time.

Unreal Engine resource viewer (formerly Unreal Model Viewer) is a program for viewing and extracting resources from various games made with Unreal Engine. Sometimes the program is referenced as "umodel", the short of "unreal" and "model viewer". The project was originally named the "Unreal model viewer", however, the name was changed in 2011 to meet the request from Epic Games. Please note that the "official" project's name is "UE Viewer", and a short unofficial name of the project is "model" (it was left from the older name "Unreal MODEL viewer"). UE Viewer is a viewer for visual resources of games made with Unreal engine. Currently, all engine versions (from 1 to 4) are supported. We are using our own build system to compile UE Viewer. You may find a Perl script in Tools/genmake. This script generates makefiles from some human-friendly project format. After that you may build generated makefile using 'nmake' for Visual Studio or 'make' for gcc.

Luminance HDR is a complete suite for HDR imaging workflow. It provides a wide range of functionalities, during both the fusion stage and the tonemapping stage. Its graphical user interface, based on Qt5, runs on a variety of platforms, such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X 10.9 and later and several Unix flavors (Linux, FreeBSD and others). Input images can be supplied in multiple formats, from JPEG to RAW files. In the same way, output can be saved in many different formats as well, from JPEG to TIFF (both 8 bit and 16 bit per channel), enabling all the power of your post processing tools.

Serial Studio is a simple, multi-platform, and multi-purpose serial data visualization program that allows embedded developers to visualize, analyze, and present data generated from their projects and devices while avoiding the need to write project-specific visualization software. Over my many CanSat-based competitions, I found myself writing and maintaining several Ground Station software for each program. However, I decided that it would be easier and more sustainable to define one flexible Ground Station Software that lets developers define how each CanSat presents data using an extensible communication protocol for easy data visualization. Developers can also use Serial Studio for almost any data acquisition and visualization project outside of CanSat, now supporting data retrieval from hardware serial ports, software serial ports, MQTT, and network sockets (TCP/UDP). You can download and install Serial Studio for your preferred platform.

GLE is a graphics scripting language designed for creating publication quality graphs, plots, diagrams, figures, and slides. Text can be formatted with LaTeX/TeX markup. Its output formats include EPS, PS, PDF, JPEG, and PNG. GLE can operate as either a command line or GUI application.

pfstools - a set of programs for reading, writing, manipulating and viewing high-dynamic range (HDR) images and video frames. pfscalibration - photometric calibration of cameras and HDR images from multiple exposures. pfstmo - tone mapping operators.

GDS3D is a cross-platform 3D hardware accelerated viewer for chip layouts. Read standalone GDS files or use the Cadence plugin for easy integration with your Virtuoso environment. The Simple Medical Imaging Library Interface (SMILI), pronounced 'smilie', is an open-source, light-weight and easy-to-use medical imaging viewer and library for all major operating systems. The main sMILX application features for viewing n-D images, vector images, DICOMs, anonymizing, shape analysis and models/surfaces with easy drag and drop functions. It also features a number of standard processing algorithms for smoothing, thresholding, masking etc. images and models, both with graphical user interfaces and/or via the command-line. The applications are all built out of a uniform user-interface framework that provides a very high level (Qt) interface to powerful image processing and scientific visualisation algorithms from the Insight Toolkit (ITK) and Visualisation Toolkit (VTK). The framework allows one to build stand-alone medical imaging applications quickly and easily.

FractalNow provides users with tools to generate pictures of various types of fractals quickly and easily. It is made of both a command line tool, FractalNow, and a graphical tool, QFractalNow. The graphical tool, based on Qt library, allows users to explore fractals intuitively and generate pictures. Both tools are entirely multi-threaded and implement advanced algorithms and heuristics that make computation very fast compared to most existing free fractal generators.

qvge is a multiplatform graph editor written in C++/Qt. Its main goal is to make possible visually edit two-dimensional graphs in a simple and intuitive way. Please note that qvge is not a replacement for such a software like Gephi, Graphvis, Dot, yEd, Dia and so on. It is neither a tool for "big data analysis" nor a math application. It is really just a simple graph editor :)

High Dynamic Range Visual Difference Predictor (HDR VDP) is a perceptual metric that can predict whether differences between two images are visible to the human observer or not.

The glVertex library emulates the legacy OpenGL API, which has been deprecated in OpenGL core profiles. It is also a convenience wrapper around GLSL shaders, VBOs and FBOs.
