MSBuild
The Microsoft Build Engine (MSBuild) build platform for .NET and VS
The Microsoft Build Engine is a platform for building applications. This engine, which is also known as MSBuild, provides an XML schema for a project file that controls how the build platform processes and builds software. Visual Studio uses MSBuild, but MSBuild doesn't depend on Visual Studio. By invoking msbuild.exe on your project or solution file, you can orchestrate and build products in environments where Visual Studio isn't installed. Visual Studio uses MSBuild to load and build managed projects. The project files in Visual Studio (.csproj, .vbproj, .vcxproj, and others) contain MSBuild XML code that executes when you build a project by using the IDE. Visual Studio projects import all the necessary settings and build processes to do typical development work, but you can extend or modify them from within Visual Studio or by using an XML editor. Starting with Visual Studio 2022, when you build in Visual Studio, the 64-bit version of MSBuild is used. -

Lightweight client for connecting to Second Life and OpenSim
Radegast is a virtual world client compatible with Second Life and OpenSimulator. Its main purpose is to provide an alternative client to Linden Lab-derived virtual world viewers. There is a strong focus on accessibility and non-3D interaction. Given the current nature of changes in Second Life, I felt it was prudent to take on another abandoned text-focused viewer. Introducing MEGAbolt, a fork of the METAbolt viewer which was abandoned by its author almost eight years ago. Keep in mind, this is the first version and much has changed under the hood. It has been brought up to date and only supports Windows x64 currently and is built against the .NET 5 platform. Like Radegast, it utilizes the LibreMetaverse library and now shares much of the same code as Radegast does, which should make maintaining both viewers more manageable. -

The natural desire of the user is to get rid of them. However, if the collection is large enough, do this manually is a very tedious and unproductive work. AntiDupl.NET program will help you automate this process. It can find and display duplicate images in the main graphic formats: JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, EMF, WMF, EXIF, ICON, JP2, PSD, DDS and TGA. WinSW wraps and manages any application as a Windows service. Functionality-wise, there's really not much that's worth noting; the problem of wrapping a process as a Windows service is so well defined that there aren't really any room for substantial innovation. You basically write a configuration file specifying how you'd like your process to be launched, and we provide programmatic means to install/uninstall/start/stop services. Another notable difference is that winsw can host any executable, whereas Java Service Wrapper can only host Java apps. Whether you like this or not depends on your taste, so I wouldn't claim mine is better. It's just different. WinSW 3 can run on Windows platforms with .NET Framework 4.6.1 or later versions installed. For systems without .NET Framework, the project provides native 64-bit and 32-bit executables based on .NET Core. -
